1. Overview

Research Relay LLC ("Research Relay," "we," "us," or "our") ships research chemicals and peptides within the United States. All products are packaged and shipped in accordance with applicable shipping regulations for research materials.

All products are for Research Use Only. This Shipping Policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service and RUO Disclosure.


2. Shipping Coverage

2.1 Domestic Shipping

We currently ship to addresses within the United States, including all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

2.2 International Shipping

We do not currently offer international shipping. All orders must be shipped to a valid United States address.

2.3 Shipping Restrictions

We may be unable to ship certain products to specific states or jurisdictions due to local regulations. If a product cannot be shipped to your location, you will be notified during the ordering process and the order will not be completed.

2.4 P.O. Box Deliveries

We accept shipments to P.O. Box addresses for orders shipped via USPS. Orders shipped via UPS or FedEx require a physical street address, as these carriers do not deliver to P.O. Boxes.


3. Shipping Options and Timeframes

3.1 Available Shipping Methods

3.2 Processing Time

Orders are processed within 1-2 business days after payment confirmation. Processing includes order verification, quality inspection, and packaging.

  • Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays
  • Orders placed after 2:00 PM Pacific Time may not begin processing until the next business day
  • Orders requiring additional verification may take longer to process

3.3 Transit Time Estimates

Transit time estimates begin after the order has been processed and handed off to the shipping carrier. Estimates are provided by the carriers and are not guaranteed by Research Relay. Factors that may affect transit times include:

  • Weather events and natural disasters
  • Carrier service disruptions
  • High-volume shipping periods
  • Remote delivery locations

4. Packaging and Handling

4.1 Research Material Packaging

All products are packaged in compliance with applicable regulations for the shipment of research materials. Our packaging standards include:

  • Secure Containment: Products are sealed in appropriate containers to prevent leakage or damage during transit
  • Protective Packaging: Adequate cushioning and protective materials to prevent breakage
  • Labeling: All packages are labeled in accordance with carrier requirements and applicable regulations for research materials
  • Discreet Packaging: Outer packaging does not display product names or contents beyond what is required by shipping regulations

4.2 Temperature-Sensitive Products

Certain peptides and research chemicals require temperature-controlled shipping to maintain stability and integrity. For temperature-sensitive products:

  • Products will be shipped with appropriate cold-chain packaging (insulated containers with ice packs or dry ice) when required
  • Temperature-sensitive orders are shipped early in the week (Monday through Wednesday) to avoid weekend transit delays
  • Overnight or expedited shipping may be required for temperature-sensitive products during warm months
  • Additional packaging fees may apply for cold-chain shipments

4.3 Hazardous Materials Considerations

Some research chemicals may be classified as hazardous materials for shipping purposes. Products subject to hazardous materials shipping regulations will be:

  • Packaged and labeled in accordance with DOT (Department of Transportation) and carrier-specific hazardous materials requirements
  • Shipped only via carriers and methods approved for hazardous materials transport
  • Subject to additional shipping fees as required by the carrier

5. Order Tracking

5.1 Tracking Information

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing:

  • Tracking number
  • Carrier name
  • Estimated delivery date
  • Link to track your package on the carrier's website

5.2 Tracking Updates

You can track your order at any time through:

  • The tracking link in your shipping confirmation email
  • Your account dashboard on research-relay.com
  • The carrier's website using your tracking number

6. Signature Requirements

6.1 Signature on Delivery

  • Orders with a value of $[AMOUNT] or more require a signature upon delivery
  • You may request signature confirmation for any order during checkout
  • If no one is available to sign, the carrier will follow their standard redelivery procedures

6.2 Authority to Receive

By providing a shipping address, you authorize any person at that address to receive and sign for the delivery on your behalf.


7. Lost, Damaged, or Stolen Shipments

7.1 Damaged Shipments

If your shipment arrives damaged:

  • Photograph the damage to the outer packaging and products before disturbing the contents

  • Do not dispose of the damaged products or packaging

7.2 Lost Shipments

If your tracking information shows no movement or your shipment has not arrived:

  • We will initiate a trace with the shipping carrier
  • If the carrier confirms the package is lost, we will issue a replacement or refund per our Refund Policy

7.3 Stolen Shipments

If your tracking shows the package was delivered but you did not receive it:

  • Check with neighbors, building management, or other household members
  • Contact the shipping carrier to confirm delivery details

  • We may require a police report for stolen package claims

8. Incorrect Shipping Address

8.1 Before Shipment

If you realize your shipping address is incorrect before your order ships, contact us immediately at [support@research-relay.com]. We will update the address if the order has not yet been processed.

8.2 After Shipment

If an order is shipped to an incorrect address that you provided:

  • We will attempt to redirect the package through the carrier if possible (additional fees may apply)
  • If the package is delivered to the incorrect address and cannot be recovered, we are not responsible for the loss
  • A new order at full price may be required

9. Order Modifications

If you need to modify an order (add items, remove items, or change shipping method):

  • Modifications can only be made if the order has not yet been processed
  • Once an order is in processing or has shipped, it cannot be modified

10. Holiday and Peak Period Shipping

During federal holidays and peak shipping periods, processing and transit times may be extended. We will post notices on the Site regarding any expected shipping delays.
